Who to call

Who leads the school

Crystal Felix-Clarke leads PATH as CEO, according to the school’s website, which says she joined the school in August 2016 as CEO and principal and serves as a nonvoting member of the PATH Academy board.

How admission works

PATH has no attendance zone. Families apply through the school’s Applying to PATH page, which on Oct. 6, 2026, listed three forms:

  • New applicants for the 2027-28 school year, grades 3 to 5
  • Siblings of current PATH students
  • A current-year waitlist for families seeking a seat in grades 5 to 8 for 2026-27

The school says it is seeking approval from the DeKalb County School District to add grades 3 and 4 from the 2027-28 school year, and that enrollment in those grades is pending that approval. Its home page posts the results of its fifth grade lottery for 2026-27.

The district’s charter schools page lists PATH’s charter term as 2020 to 2027, with a contract and an extension, and a DeKalb PATH Academy petition in its fall 2024 petition cycle.

Enrollment and teachers

The state counted 379 students at PATH in its 2025 School Grades data. The most recent federal figure, from the NCES directory for the 2023-24 school year, is 368 students and 17 full-time-equivalent teachers, about 21.6 students per teacher. The district’s charter schools page lists 368 students in its March 2025 count.
