Attendance zone

Zones are set by the district and do not follow city limits. Check any address with the district’s school locator, which shows the 2026-27 elementary, middle and high school zones. Laying the district’s zone map over the Census Bureau’s city boundary, Ashford Park’s zone covers about 30% of Brookhaven’s land, and about nine-tenths of the zone is inside the city.

Under the district’s cluster feeder patterns, Ashford Park feeds Chamblee Middle School, 3601 Sexton Woods Drive, Chamblee, and then Chamblee High. Huntley Hills and Montgomery elementary schools feed the same middle school.

Rezoning under study: the Chamblee cluster is one of six in the district’s Fall 2026 Student Assignment Project, which is redrawing zones for overcrowded schools before new and expanded buildings open from 2027 to 2029. The district has published three elementary zone options and an options locator that shows which school an address would get under each one. It says no recommendations have been made, and the Board of Education will consider them in December 2026. No rezoning affecting Ashford Park Elementary has been approved.

Programs

The school’s STEM page says it is an AdvancED nationally accredited STEM-certified school, with a STEM lab and a dedicated STEM teacher. Its German Immersion page says it is home to the first German dual immersion program in Georgia; admission to the program is offered only in kindergarten, students stay in it through fifth grade, and they can continue at Chamblee Middle and Chamblee High.
