Rezoning under study: the Cross Keys cluster is one of six in the district’s Fall 2026 Student Assignment Project, which is redrawing zones for overcrowded schools before new and expanded buildings open from 2027 to 2029. The district has published three elementary zone options and an options locator that shows which school an address would get under each one. It says no recommendations have been made, and the Board of Education will consider them in December 2026. No rezoning affecting John Robert Lewis Elementary has been approved.
