The race page calls it the 13th annual glow run. Every dollar raised goes to the department’s Shop with a Badge Christmas program, in which officers take children in need shopping for the holidays.

Anyone registered for the earlier date was moved to Oct. 10 automatically. Runners who cannot make the new date or time can email the race team through the city’s listing for a refund.

Race day schedule

The race page lists:

  • 5 p.m.: packet pickup, in-person registration and glow gear
  • 6:30 p.m.: Tot Trot start
  • 7 p.m.: 5K start
  • 8 p.m.: awards, possibly earlier once all age groups are final

Getting there and parking

Murphey Candler Park is at 1551 West Nancy Creek Drive. Neither the race page nor the city listing gives a parking plan or a road closure for 2026. The city’s Murphey Candler Park map shows the park’s lots. We will add any closures here if the department posts them.
