Brookhaven’s Mexican restaurants gather along Buford Highway, where taquerias and a long-running cantina sit between North Druid Hills Road and the Chamblee line, and on Johnson Ferry Road near Ashford Dunwoody Road. Town Brookhaven, Durden Drive, the Briarcliff Road shopping centers and Peachtree Road each have one or two more.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Brookhaven’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. We added places from the Explore Brookhaven dining listings and kept them only where the place’s own site gave a Brookhaven address, confirmed against the U.S. Census Bureau’s city boundary. Places with no website, or whose sites would not load for us, are left off until we can check them. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Chico Cantina at Town Brookhaven is a Mexican restaurant and bar with a covered patio and 30 TVs, its site says. It runs a happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. every day and serves brunch on weekends.

El Potro Mexican Restaurant on Buford Highway describes itself as a traditional Mexican restaurant of more than 30 years, serving tacos every day and margaritas.

Moe’s Southwest Grill has two Brookhaven counters, at the Briarcliff Road shopping center and at Town Brookhaven. The chain builds burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and bowls to order, with dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina on Buford Highway calls itself the home of the Monster Margarita. Its site lists a full bar, a kids menu, big-screen TVs and a patio that is lit up at night. It does not post hours, so call before you go.

PURE Taqueria on Durden Drive is the taqueria’s Brookhaven location, and its page says this one adds a rooftop bar.

Taco Bell on Buford Highway is the Tex-Mex chain’s late-night store, open until 5 a.m. by its location page.

Tacos Al Pastor on Johnson Ferry Road serves street-style tacos. Its menu lists grilled beef, al pastor, Mexican sausage, chicken, beef stew and beef tongue fillings, with online ordering.

Taqueria Michoacan on Buford Highway takes orders online for pickup and delivery. Its menu runs from tacos de asada and tortas to flautas, shrimp fajitas and seafood soup.

Willy’s Mexicana Grill has two Brookhaven locations, on Briarcliff Road and on Peachtree Road. The chain lists a patio at both.
